The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation’s largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. The BSA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness. BSA units include:
- Cub Scouts (Boys or Girls Grades K-5)
- Scouts BSA (Boys or Girls 11-17 years old)
- Venturing (Boys, Girls or Coed 14-20 years old)
In the Archdiocese of Louisville, 36 parishes and schools (map) charter local BSA units in the Lincoln Heritage Council in accordance with Archdiocese Guidelines and Safe Environment requirements.
